Citron Hygiene is one of the UK market leaders providing washroom and waste services. We are seeking new Hygiene Technicians to join our Service Team. As a Hygiene Technician you play a critical role in servicing our customers washrooms and building healthy spaces.

• Carrying out a service and exchange of Citron Hygiene products whilst on the premises.

• Being the face of Citron Hygiene and providing exceptional customer service to all our customers.

• Maintaining great communication with your Service Coordinator (based at the Service Centre) throughout your working day to ensure all planned stops are completed and escalating/resolving any issues which arise in a timely manner.

• Returning to the Service Centre one or two times per week to unload and replenish stock.

  • No formal qualifications are required for this role.

• Patience – this role involves travelling during peak periods to and from customers premises and unfortunately traffic issues are unavoidable.

• Being comfortable working within the washroom environment for male, female and unisex users.

• Professional – conducting yourself in a professional manner is key to this role for both the business and its customers.

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence, with a maximum of 3 points.

• ADR Licence would be advantageous but not essential.

Please note, successful applicants will be subject to a disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.

Citron Hygiene has a wide range of customers across several different sectors including CQC (Care Quality Commissioned) registered service providers, including but not limited to care homes and nursing homes. Sadly, COVID-19 has taken many thousands of lives among older people, those with underlying health conditions and those who need the level of care provided in care homes.

The Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) Social Care Working Group has highlighted that people living in care homes have been particularly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, due to a combination of a heightened risk of severe outcomes following COVID-19 infection and the risk of outbreaks in closed settings. Under The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021, any person entering the premises of a CQC (Care Quality Commissioned) registered service provider will need to be vaccinated unless they are exempt under the regulations.

Please note candidates must have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination or be willing to do so unless medically exempt, in order to comply with new legislative requirements for CQC registered service providers.
