Home Energy Scotland advice centres provide impartial, expert energy efficiency advice across the country through a variety of methods.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person for the role of Advice Team Manager for our Home Energy Scotland Advice Centre in the Highlands and Islands. The service is at the forefront of tackling climate change and fuel poverty, delivering advice on energy efficiency, renewable technology, and transport.

Passionate about customer focused delivery you will manage and motivate the Home Energy Scotland Advice Team to deliver a high level of service, providing a range of advice and support, and inspiring customers to take action. You will be working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure a high-quality service which fulfils the needs of customers across Highlands and Islands and supports Scotland’s journey to net zero.

You will be a people manager with a motivational and coaching style that will inspire the Energy Advisors and Senior Advisors to perform to their full potential in order to meet the centre’s key performance indicators.

You will drive delivery of exceptional customer service, developing effective processes to support the team to advice a large volume of customers via a range of channels, including telephone, events and digital.

You will have a curiosity to analyse outcomes to deliver continuous improvement, informing our direction as we strive to support our customers with a wide range of services including advice, referrals to other services, and home visits.

This opportunity offers a challenging and stimulating position in the environmental and charity sector focussed on the Scottish Government’s Energy Efficient Scotland programme.

Changeworks delivers the Home Energy Scotland advice centres in both the Highlands and Islands and South East Scotland under contracts managed by the Energy Saving Trust.
