The role in brief:

An opportunity has arisen to join our Financial Planning team as a Financial Adviser. This is a unique opportunity to work within a firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisers. Our Financial Planning business is ready to grow but requires further capacity to facilitate this. You will work as part of the financial planning team providing an excellent service to clients’ in accordance with the firm’s values, procedures, prevailing legislation and good professional practice so as to meet or exceed clients’ expectations and needs.

Who we are looking for:

This is an ideal opportunity for either a well-established financial adviser or someone who has some initial experience working as a financial adviser.

You may have an established client bank but are considering a change of employer. We will provide full support to someone looking to transition into a new business.

You may have recently commenced your career as a financial adviser but are looking for more support to allow you to develop your client bank.

You may be self-employed but looking for the security of an employed role.

Your development:

We will provide a study package towards the CII chartered or fellowship qualification, including study leave and will mentor you through your qualification journey.

We also provide a complementary range of training opportunities to ensure that you maximise your potential in areas such as becoming a trusted adviser, how to network, presentation skills etc with opportunities for progression within Financial Planning or wider firm.

We have quarterly performance review conversations to ensure your development is on track.

We also encourage you to get involved in wider firm initiatives and have your say on how we can progress on our journey towards being the best North West firm of finance professionals.

You will be a part of our financial planning team providing an excellent financial planning service to a large range of private clients, business owners and corporate clients.

There will be the opportunity to take over the management of existing Financial Planning clients whilst developing your own client bank via internal and external referrals.

You will have responsibility for offering a great ongoing service to Financial planning clients alongside the client relationship team and to respond to prospective clients on planning related queries.

You will work closely with the paraplanning team to prepare accurate and complaint Financial Planning reports.

You will also start to get involved in supporting the firm with business development initiatives such as seminars, presentations and networking. You will be encouraged to drive new business forward and assist with our business development plans.

Working closely with the other financial advisers to share expertise and maintain awareness of the latest legislative changes that may affect planning.

You will also form part of our T&C scheme and will be required to maintain an up to date Statement of Professional Standing.

Salary Dependent on experience
