The role in brief:

An opportunity has arisen to join the accounts + advisory team as an adviser – at a semi senior level.

Who we are looking for:

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has three consecutive years’ experience working within an accountancy practice, and who’s role predominantly involves the preparation of sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts for entities of various sizes and industries as well as book-keeping assignments.

Your development

We will provide a study package towards the AAT and or ACA/ACCA qualification, including study leave and will mentor you through your qualification journey.

We also provide a complementary range of training opportunities to ensure that you maximise your potential in areas such as becoming a trusted adviser, how to network, presentation skills etc with opportunities for progression around the firm.

We have quarterly performance review conversations to ensure your development is on track.

Responsibilities

You will be a part of our accounts + advisory team preparing year end accounts and tax computations for a wide variety of business owners, both in-house and at clients’ premises.

You will liaise with clients from day one, discussing year end accounts fluctuations and assisting with any adhoc queries that our clients may have.

You will be responsible for overseeing our junior team members and taking an active role in the supervision of their work.

As your experience grows assignments will increase in complexity to include, the preparation of management accounts, larger clients, group companies and more complicated accounting standards.

You will also start to become a trusted adviser to clients, becoming involved in company tax and personal tax planning assignments, working alongside peers in both our accounts and dedicated tax teams.

Salary Dependent on experience
