The role in brief:

We have an opportunity to join the Accounting + Advisory team as a Senior Adviser.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 5 years practice experience predominantly preparing accounts for limited companies. The role would be great for someone looking to expand their current skill set and career by being part of a progressive team. We would like someone who works well as part of a team and enjoys mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Your development:

Continued training support for those candidates who are part way through the ACA/ACCA qualification with a study package, including study leave and mentor support through your qualification journey.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts in accordance with FRS102 and FRS102 1a, for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies both in house and at clients premises for a wide range of industries.

• Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and projections using various software packages both in house and on site.

• Preparation of corporate tax return information and review of computation.

• Supervising and training team members.

Qualifications

Be ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified

• An individual with strong initiative and project management skills (taking control and running with tasks through to completion)

• Able to multi-task and prioritise workload with minimal supervision

• Well organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Confident and able to deal with people at all levels to build strong internal relationships

Experience

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ practice experience.

• Be familiar with the use of recognised software applications Xero, QBO, Sage Line 50, CCH, Word, Excel, Outlook.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills as there will be contact with clients at all levels.

• Have good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.

Salary Dependant on experience
