About the role
We care about developing our talent and paving the way for new opportunities for fresh talent to work with our fantastic brands. Motorcycles Technicians are at the core of our daily success, and we are currently looking for Motorcycle Apprentices to join us who are willing to work and study hard, and commit to a three year BMW accredited training course.
The training programme will be carried out at our LIND Motorrad dealership. You will learn how to diagnose and repair problems and become familiar with key financial management and legal principles, with the support of our experienced Technicians in the workshop.
On completion of your Apprenticeship, you will be fully ATA-accredited with a City and Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering. (NVQ Level 3) and have the opportunity to progress within LIND.
What we’re looking for
An Apprentice Technician who is passionate and enthusiastic about motorcycles and committed to having a career within this industry. You will be confident in providing a great customer service and work well within a team environment with like-minded individuals in our workshop. To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to travel daily to work.
You will also need to be eligible to partake in an Apprenticeship Scheme, ideally with GCSE grades C or above in Maths and English and/or Computer Science.
- Paid Apprenticeship
- Working 40 hours per week (normally Tuesday to Saturday)
- Paid holidays (22 days) plus bank holidays
- Overnight accommodation for training offsite when applicable
- Benefiting from being part of the wider Lind Team which has 13 dealerships that includes 2 Porsche Centres, 5 Harley-Davidson, 4 Triumph and 2 BMW Motorrad Dealerships.
Please note that as part of the process, you will be asked to attend an interview and you may be required to attend an assessment day.
