ABOUT US
Avensys are one of the UKs leading Bio-Medical Engineering companies, supplying and maintaining medical equipment as well as providing training to the nations (and in some cases beyond!) Bio-Medical Engineers. Never before has the field of Bio-Medical Engineering been the focus of such attention; the pandemic has seen a huge rise in demand for the skills that ensure Bio-Medical devices are properly maintained, and Avensys is one of the key players in this new landscape. As well as providing engineers to the NHS Nightingale Hospitals, we have been providing training at these hospitals regarding the correct operation of ventilation and monitoring equipment.
THE ROLE

The particular role will involve travel to the surrounding areas, and will require you to provide scheduled maintenance, rectification and modification of medical equipment for Avensys contracts in this area. You will be liaising with our account managers regarding the allocation of jobs, but you will be responsible for various elements of your own administration including recording service notes and parts orders on our Asset Management System, controlling your test equipment and inventories and complying with and carrying out personal risk assessments.
As part of our team of engineers you will be supporting (and receive support from) both your colleagues and your Senior Engineering Manager (SEM). You will receive training via our training academy to ensure that you develop your technical knowledge as regards equipment modalities as well as manufacturers. Different levels of experience will be considered for the role and we are happy to discuss this further.
