About the role:

Due to company growth, we are now seeking a self-motivated Project Commissioning To technically engineer / install and manage small and large projects across the Marlowe portfolio whilst controlling and planning the projects and commissioning works. Liaise with key clients to ensure programme deadlines are achieved whilst maintaining profitability, Health, Safety and quality to company requirements. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure project are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure project is on programme
  • Process cost sheets to purchasing department
  • Ensuring Marlowe are commercially protected with correspondence to the customer outlining delays and issues
  • Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project
  • Ensure all engineering paperwork is allocated to the engineers and following project completion ensure commissioning completed correctly
  • Provide technical expertise as required on projects as required
  • Attend site meetings as required
  • Line management of engineers and sub-contractors as assigned, including management of employee
  • Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager
  • Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites
  • Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards
  • Can manage and develop complexed cause and effect in line with customer specifications

About you:

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual that relish’s a challenging environment. You must have good communication skills and technical knowledge of Major systems and projects. You Must be prepared to work anywhere and at any time to ensure the project is complete following all Marlowe health and safety guidelines.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Extensive experience in the fire and security Industry
  • Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations.
  • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
  • Gent Vigilon detailed knowledge and experience
  • Complex cause and effect experience
  • Electrical experience
  • Experience in engineer management
  • Experience in site safety
  • ECS / CSCS

The Role:

The core focus of this role is to deliver a first class efficient, reliable and operationally effective regional service team, build and develop the existing customer service base and to ensure maximum revenue generation whilst maintaining best in class health and safety compliance.   • Management of the Lead Engineers to deliver a first class service to all our customers whilst clearly delegating lead engineer responsibilities of day to day management of regional engineers.
  • Management of the regional scheduler(s) for your region to ensure efficient labour deployment on a postcode analysis and forward planning basis, and ensuring deployment of engineers on call out works within SLA of customers or NSI response times.
  • To ensure first time fix rates of 85% within your region based on good stock control, analysis of customer equipment and sufficient technical training
  • Service docket reviews for every completed engineer job per day to determine if further customer support is required paying particular attention to further action calls raised.
  • Weekly reporting on engineer performance, customer service delivery within your region and C4W status of jobs
  • Review department commitment regularly ensuring optimum utilisation of resources to achieve agreed service levels in line with agreed KPI’s (engineering areas covered, callout rotas and holidays)
  • Audit and authorise service department running cost’s Inc. - Time sheets, expenses, parts ordered, commissions, fuel expense.
  • To act as escalation for customer needs, complaints, and concerns with a sense of urgency as and when required
  • To monitor Health and Safety Compliance – completion of toolbox talks, health and safety audits (PPE, Ladder, vehicle etc.), reporting accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
  • To ensure Environmental Compliance – safe disposal of waste (ionised detectors / WEEE etc.), returns of waste transfer and consignment notes and to ensure all operatives carry the waste transfer certificate.

We are looking for self-managing, enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic CCTV Engineer to join our team, undertaking various pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks and new installation works. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing, commissioning of CCTV Systems
  • IP Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems or related equipment, following drawing of electrical layouts and building plans in accordance with NSI and relevant Codes of Practice/Policies.

The Role

We have a requirement for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to provide Service and minor Remedial works support for a selection of key accounts in and around the West half of the M25 and the directly surrounding counties. The candidate would work with our existing team in the area and look after several prestigious large-scale commercial sites, ranging across Hospitality, Healthcare, Heritage and Education sectors. As this role will look after a select list of key accounts the role will be varied, but predominantly a Fire Alarm Service role with minor remedial works and Fault-finding to suit the skills of the applicant. EVCS and Gas Suppression experience is beneficial but not a requirement. Security System experience would also be an advantage for any candidate and training will be provided to any candidate that wants progression into a Fire and Security Role.

Systems vary but mostly large-scale networked systems ranging across Gent, Advanced, Notifier, Morley and Kentec. Works are completed with a team of two due to the size and complexity of the buildings and to ensure that the work is completed safely, so will involve working with and mentoring our group of apprentice engineers.

The sites are all long-term prestigious contracts direct with the end-user, so the works must be completed to the highest possible standard. The engineer will be given time, support and resource to maintain the systems thoroughly.

Key Relationships

The post holder will be responsible for a select list of key accounts and so will be able to acquire detailed site knowledge and will be provided with training for all systems that you maintain to an expert level. As part of a dedicated support team consisting of a Service Coordinator, Senior Engineer, Service Manager and Contract Manager, you will work to provide an industry leading level of service for our clients. We invest heavy in apprentices so you will work with and support the development of the next generation of engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities

We have a requirement for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer with experience in the installation and commissioning of large-scale and networked Fire and Security Systems. Tasks will include completing installation works with support of other Engineers, Apprentices or Subcontractors. Experience with different types of containment and cabling systems is essential, the candidate must be electrically competent, have an understanding the relevant regulations and able to work in a busy construction environment with other trades. The candidate must be capable of commissioning systems, including new installs and modifications to large existing systems. Additional Commissioning Engineer support is available for the more complex systems where needed. Liaising with contractors and working closely with our Design Engineers and Project Managers to ensure that project information is communicated effectively will be a crucial part of the role.

· Planning, developing and delivering a suite of fire safety training courses.

· Ensuring that courses achieve and maintain accreditation from external bodies, i.e. IFE, IOSH etc.

· Ensuring all booked training courses are delivered and certificates of competition or attendance are issued.

· Fully risk assessing nominated buildings as required.

· Attending appointments to fulfil activity and to attain agreed targets.

· Collating appropriate information, ensuring correct documentation is utilised and providing reports where required.

· Keeping up to date with industry standards and changes to legislation.

About you:

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role who is looking for a new challenge within a growing company.

Our ideal candidate has:

· Strong technical knowledge and experience of conducting Fire Risk Assessments.

· An IFE, IFSM or IFPO accreditation.

· A valid training qualification or is willing to work towards.

· A current life safety risk register or be willing to work towards.

· Experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments on retail properties (desirable).

· Full understanding of the current UK fire legislation and the ability to use fire safety guidance documents.

About the role:

We are looking for self-managing, enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic CCTV Engineer to join our team, undertaking various pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks and new installation works. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing, commissioning of CCTV Systems

• IP Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems or related equipment, following drawing of electrical layouts and building plans in accordance with NSI and relevant Codes of Practice/Policies.

• Providing a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works and working drawings.

• Liaising with ARC (Alarm receiving centres)

• Production of high-quality commissioning and handover documentation and as fit drawings.

About you:

• A minimum of four years previous experience in a CCTV Engineer role.

• Excellent general knowledge of CCTV systems.

• Strong communication skills.

• Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submissions.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Knowledge of IP Systems / Networking is preferable.
