About the role

As a first line Support Analyst you will be an approachable and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others. You will be proactive and have a natural flair for troubleshooting and problem solving. You will have a passion to expand your knowledge of enterprise IT systems and software enabling you to deal with support referrals quickly and efficiently.

How your role fits within our team

As a member of the IT service desk, you’ll often be the first person someone speaks to about their issue and it is therefore important you demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. You’ll take ownership of support tickets as they are allocated to you from our ticketing system and you’ll be responsible for resolving these tickets each day.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve service desk tickets within agreed SLAs via multiple channels (phone, web, chat).
  • Log on to the IT helpdesk phone line to answer and resolve support calls from service users.
  • Respond to fluctuations in demand by remaining available throughout the day.
  • Identify and replicate bugs relating to our software applications and raise bug reports for escalation.
  • Provide onsite support for our office and clinical staff through other mediums including floor walking, support drop-ins and chat groups.
  • Be a technical point of contact for end-users.
  • Monitor and manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for Ascenti employees.
  • Help the team write documentation into the support knowledgebase.
  • Providing support outside core hours as part of a rota and under a flexible working policy
  • Some travel to remote sites, as required.

As an Application Support Analyst at Ascenti you’ll be responsible for diagnosing incidents as they occur in our production environments and performing hotfixes to resolve them. You’ll also be expected to identify the root cause of such issues in order to fix any wider issues and develop bug fixes and system improvements to prevent them from happening again.

As a member of the IT service desk, you’ll take ownership of incident and change requests as escalated to you from our support ticketing system. You’ll also be responsible for the daily monitoring and reporting of availability and error performance metrics for our applications and services. You will have a wide span of stakeholders within the business and therefore prioritisation as well as customer service is a key part of your role.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve helpdesk incidents and requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Identify and replicate bugs related to our software applications and cloud environment.
  • Dissect and understand issues by performing deep-dives into the application code.
  • Develop bug-fixes and submit pull-requests to our development team to solve common / minor issues.

Your purpose

As the IT Operations Lead at Ascenti, you’ll be accountable for the delivery and planning of support and infrastructure projects to enable our general operations, people onboarding, product development and business continuity. Key responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact and escalation for the Ascenti IT Service desk, ensuring that it is sufficiently manned during working hours.
  • Embed a formal performance management process across the IT service teams, focussed on providing excellent customer service to the wide range of stakeholders who require support.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of professionals - provide daily coaching, management and advice on best practice and tools.
  • Be a senior technical subject matter expert in a field related to enterprise IT – e.g. networking, DevOps, SecOps, cloud management or equivalent.

    Your purpose

    We are looking for a personable, innovative, and dedicated manager, with extensive management experience, to join our team as Advo Health expands its Personal Independence Payment (PIP) service provision.

    You will hold accountability for two key areas of the business:

    1. The operational delivery of PIP services to Advo Health's client

    2. The continual development of our internal operational processes

    You will meet with the client regularly and be accountable for all national operational matters including - but not limited to, production of on-going volume forecasts, delivery against forecast, ensuring efficiency and value of service delivery, delivery against operational KPIS, providing senior management support in relation to facilities, health and safety, HR and governance issues and being an active member of the health and safety committee and any other relevant committee's representing Advo Health.

    It will be important to develop a strong working relationship with the client; responding effectively to feedback and challenging where appropriate. You will lead on the identification of operational improvements, formulation of action plans to resolve any issues and the subsequent delivery of changes. It will also be your responsibility to effectively engage with key internal stakeholders to continually improve our processes at a national level, which will include the governance, communications, IT, facilities and HR functions. You will be responsible for setting up operational improvement projects and ensuring key actions are identified and followed through (such as process changes).

    How your role fits within our team

    You will work closely with the Head of Government Services to feed into national operations meetings and deliver key operational projects. You will also work in collaboration with the National Performance Manager to ensure that operational and clinical performance are closely aligned.

    Key responsibilities

    • To ensure excellent delivery of services to Advo Health's client through the early resolution of issues/escalations, focused attention on operational KPIs and the effective delivery of any key projects/changes
    • To work closely with the National Performance Manager to align operational service delivery improvements with clinical performance projects
    • To support the Head of Government services to deliver on key contractual obligations for the client
    • To line manage, develop and lead the regional managers, customer support team manager, operations manager and service development lead. It will be predominantly through your leadership that the management team will disseminate key information, changes, and improvements into the network.
    • To maximise volume output of the Advo network and meet budgeting targets
    • To feed into various operational meetings, in support of the Head of Government Services, to identify and deliver key operational improvement projects
    • To continually improve and develop the relationship between the Advo network and Ascenti's central functions, such as:
    1.  Working closely with HR and Head of Government Services to deliver key people strategies, including taking accountability for the Advo recruitment and retention plan
    2.  Clarifying and agreeing how certain functions can best support the network and ensuring clear lines of accountability are communicated – for example for governance and facilities functions
    3.  Identifying how the network can support the various campaigns run by the communications team and vice versa

    Knowledge experience and qualifications

                  About the role

                  Working as part of the Triage Caller team, you will play a rewarding role in shaping the overall experience of Ascenti’s customers by moving patients through the triage process.

                  Triage is a medical term which describes the process of reviewing patient details and finding the right order and route to treatment for every individual.

                  You will have regular coaching and 121 support in your role and will enjoy working as part of a busy task focused team, with the opportunity to take home a monthly bonus (see below for more details).

                  Day-to-day you will speak with people over the phone who have been referred to Ascenti for treatment and will use your strong attention to detail and an understanding call manner to:

                  • Call patients who have been referred to Ascenti for treatment to discuss and assess their injuries over the phone.
                  • Make an appropriate recommendation based on the information obtained during the call and using any SLAs or guidelines provided.
                  • Direct patients to the most appropriate treatment pathway.
                  • Deal with internal queries sent by the triage administration team.

                  Hours and bonus

                  Ascenti Triage Callers benefit from a monthly target-based bonus scheme which could see you earning up to an additional £2,500pa on top of the basic salary package.

                  Full-time Triage Callers work Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week with a half hour lunch break. You will have to work 1 in 4 Saturdays where you will get the time back in lieu the following week.
