Members of Mondrian’s client service and business development team are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with clients and advisers and in some cases, managing others.

The major responsibilities of this position could include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Service and grow our managed account programs (SMA and model delivery) and mutual fund relationships with various sponsors and platforms. This involves meeting with prospects and clients in-person and conducting video calls
  • Work with other the Business Development team members to identify and pursue new business prospects
  • Act as an internal resource for issues related to managed account platforms and mutual funds
  • Monitor investment and competitor trends and position Mondrian’s products accordingly
  • Represent Mondrian in presentations at industry events, and with client and prospect organizations
  • Develop and maintain a working industry knowledge
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of core products (International Equity and Emerging Markets Equity), ability to present without a PM, lead coordination of PM trips, books and marketing materials
  • Work with internal colleagues to complete new business and client questionnaires
  • Ensure the CRM (Salesforce) is updated with contacts and activities
  • Review RFP responses as needed along with DDQs and other annual reports/disclosures

To perform this job successfully, the employee must reside in the Philadelphia area. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of client service and business development experience preferably in equities and fixed income
  • Bachelor's Degree; CFA and/or Masters degree preferred
  • Series 7 and 63 required
  • A proven record of developing relationships in the intermediary marketplace within North America, including sponsors and registered investment advisors
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the investment management industry
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues in London, Philadelphia and Singapore
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively
