PM+M Marketing + Business Development team is expanding and are looking for an Executive to join them in this newly created role, on a full or part time basis.

Responsibilities

What the role involves:

You will be a key member of the Marketing and Business Development Team, working on a varied range of marketing activity. There is an emphasis on the development of marketing collateral (both design and content writing), email marketing, website maintenance, social media, events and project management, and CRM / database management.

The role is an exciting, fast-paced and wide-ranging position which requires a highly motivated individual with a creative flair and excellent organisational skills to assist the Marketing team in driving forward the marketing activities of the firm and supporting the Senior Marketing Executives and Marketing Director, as well as managing some projects independently and overseeing some of the work carried out by the Marketing Assistant.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Executives to implement the marketing plans, you will:

• Utilise your creative skills to develop visual design elements for both digital and print materials, including proposals, presentations, social media content, and the website, ensuring all design elements align with the firm's brand guidelines

• Generate engaging and informative content for various platforms, incorporating your design expertise to enhance the visual appeal of written materials

• Work closely with the PM+M team of experts to translate technical information into visually appealing and easily digestible content

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement innovative marketing campaigns that align with the firmwide objectives

• Manage and optimise the firm's online presence, including social media channels, by creating visually appealing and shareable content

• Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and incorporate innovative strategies to enhance online visibility

• Manage email marketing campaigns and ensure compliance with the firm’s GDPR policy

• Co-ordinate events / seminar planning (with full organisational responsibility including venue management, control of internal and external communications, liaising with delegates and reporting on feedback to measure return on investment)

• Complete various other ad-hoc marketing projects as required

• Work collaboratively with the firm’s wider team and support the marketing team with the day-to-day management of the team’s marketing assistant

Competencies

Your attributes:

As well as experience within marketing in accountancy, law or professional services being advantageous, we’d like you to be:

• A proactive, self-motivated, team player who is looking to progress their career through practical experience

• Able to manage conflicting priorities and consistently deliver high quality work to deadlines

• An individual with strong initiative and project management skills (taking control and running with tasks through to completion)

• Have a creative flair with proven experience in graphic design

• Able to multi-task and prioritise workload with minimal supervision

• Experienced in writing copy for marketing purposes

• Experienced in the use of social media channels in a professional capacity – LinkedIn, Facebook, X are a must, along with Instagram and TikTok

• Well organised with excellent attention to detail (for copywriting and proof reading)

• Confident and able to deal with people at all levels to build strong internal relationships

Experience

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be a fun, happy and able to work closely with and support a small team to achieve great results

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ marketing experience (preferably within a professional services or similar environment)

• Have studied a marketing, creative, English or other business-related degree (or relevant qualification, for example CIM Level 4)

• Be an active, competent user of Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly InDesign), WordPress and Campaign Monitor (or similar email marketing platforms)

• Be able to grasp an understanding of accounting and tax technical matters and turn this into easily digestible content

• Be industry aware of topics that would benefit the firm’s marketing strategy • Focus on the importance of using brand correctly – ensuring all work and design activity aligns completely to the brand

• Be proactive with ideas and able to sell these into the senior team (later delivering initiatives and demonstrating their success)

• Have experience in managing CRM projects from initiation through to completion and overseeing ongoing development
