Digital Performance Marketing Manager

Salary: £40,000.00 to £50,000.00 (dependent on experience)

Location: Hybrid (Colchester Head Office)

We have an exciting new opportunity in our team for an ambitious Digital Performance Marketing Manager who is looking to build on their experience to date working as part of a talented, evolving team, reporting directly to the Deputy Managing Director.

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for co-ordinating the Company’s digital marketing campaigns. They collaborate with their Stakeholders to implement, report on and adapt cross platform marketing campaigns to drive their key performance indicators.

Key Accountability

The Digital Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for co-ordinating, developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, strategies, and initiatives to promote Rapids products and services online, drive traffic, generate leads, and increase revenue.

• To ensure the Company’s digital marketing campaigns, including PPC, social media and email campaigns, are progressing as intended.

• To liaise with commercial teams to align future campaigns

• To report on campaign performance

• To create campaign material in conjunction with the Marketing Team

• To maintain successful relationships with appropriate partners (both within the wider Group and externally)

• To brainstorm and implement experiments designed to improve KPIs

• To contribute to a SEO and content improvement strategy and implementation

• To work with the Web Development team and other stakeholders to improve the customer experience on the websites

• Own relevant KPIs as agreed with Management


Digital Marketing:

• Manage social media and email marketing campaigns

• Manage PPC campaigns including maintaining good relations with partners

• Manage Affiliate campaigns including maintaining good relations with partners

• Ensure effective use of marketing personalisation

• Utilise 3rd party software to assist in various aspects of performance marketing

• Manage other digital marketing content such as content on Supplier sites, Media partners and the Company’s own websites

• Work with Web Development to suggest, implement and test improvements to customer experience online

• Use marketing tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, marketing automation platforms and other digital analytic tools

• To ensure we conform to Digital data usage and security regulations

• Keep abreast of appropriate development and trends in the Digital Marketing


• Responsible for their own performance, and to support their team in, achieving all targets and job standards set out by the Deputy Managing Director.

• Adaptable and flexible in their approach to work.

• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.

• To be curious and always looking for a better way to perform a task, in order to improve efficiency.

• Communicative and respectful of all workers within Rapid and their working environment.

• Understand how each task within the team impacts on the overall Client / Customer Experience of Rapid and ensure that they are striving to make this the best possible experience for all concerned.

• Perform any reasonable task that is required of them by their Manager.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Solid foundation in Digital marketing concepts, strategies and tools
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • A passion for driving success.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics data.
  • Understanding budgets, ROI and working /adapting campaigns appropriately
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to influence at all levels and create collaborations which lead to success
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
