This role will be Monday - Friday with a salary + bonus OTE of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, dependant on experience.

About the role

You will be part of a small team based at our impressive Triumph Dealership in West Byfleet, reporting into the Accountant. The position will include a variety of administrative tasks supporting our Triumph motorcycle dealerships.

We are looking for someone who has solid administrative experience, is process driven, has great attention to detail and ideally prior knowledge of the motorcycle/automotive arena but if not really keen to learn!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Administration for Triumph dealerships
  • Coding / Entering invoices and credit notes into the dealer management system
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Invoicing off orders against purchase orders
  • Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring invoices paid/ received by due dates
  • Staff expenses management including reconciliations and payment
  • Filing Ad hoc support to the Accountant, Group Accountant and Head of Business as and when needed

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Demonstratable passion to develop in accounting with current progression towards / the desire to study towards AAT / CIMA/ACCA. There is potential for study support.

Previous experience as a Motorcycle Technician is not essential to this role, however you will need to possess an NVQ 3 in car/motorcycle maintenance. This is an ideal role for someone wishing to develop their career and benefit from full manufacturer technician training.

Our working week is 39 hours; working Tuesday to Saturday with a salary of £26,500 - £33,000, dependant on experience. There is the opportunity to do overtime depending upon demand.

This role will require you to interact with our customers, so, standard service is not enough. You will genuinely want to take ownership of their needs, wants and desires, and you’ll want to get fully involved with dealership events and rides, both on and off site.
